Aspire Lounge Perth Airport T1 – Perth

The newest member of the Aspire Lounge family worldwide (65 lounges across 20 countries) Aspire Perth T1 is the first International Lounge for the brand in Australia. Located in Terminal 1 at Perth International Airport, this project transformed a historic 1970’s Public Viewing Deck and Air Traffic Control Centre into an internationally awarded Airport Lounge.

Proud winner of the “World Traveller Awards 2022 Best Airport Lounge in Oceania” for extraordinary food and wine, personal service and facilities. What better way to start an international journey than by sitting in a relaxing and calming space gazing out on to the airfield watching the planes come and go while enjoying complimentary restaurant quality food and drinks. Inspired by Western Australian nature and culture, this pay-per-use lounge features a fresh contemporary design and an abundance of natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows. The lounge also offers shower rooms, comfortable seating, complimentary WiFi and a kid’s space for young travellers.

3Wood Consultancy was very proud to be the Project Manager on such an inspiring and iconic space. Working closely with all stakeholders from State & Federal Government, Perth Airport Authority, State Liquor Licensing, engineers, builders, contractors, suppliers and of course the client themselves – Swissport – owner of the Aspire Lounge brand. This was a project that was conceived prior to COVID in 2019, experienced many delays due to lockdowns and ongoing challenges as the airline industry again found its feet. A spectacular outcome and a truly iconic landmark re-born in Perth!
